Remzija Đumišić was a self-taught sculptor born in Banja Luka in 1922. At the age of 26, he began losing his sight. During rehabilitation in Osijek, he learned the basics of ceramics and handicrafts, where he also held his first sculpture exhibition, despite never having engaged in sculpting before. He spent the last period of his life in Zagreb, working with ceramics and creating small sculptures. He held two solo exhibitions at the Typhlological Museum and participated in several group exhibitions with members of Group 69. His most common themes were portraits and human figures.
