This hand-written certificate issued by the Orle municipality states that Vinko Bek, a teacher in Bukevje, started educating and training the blind in 1888. It is specified that, after being granted permission to teach by the Royal Local Government, Vinko Bek started teaching Hinko Svoboda, a blind student, free of charge, and that he worked tirelessly for the benefit of the blind while founding the institute as well. The certificate is authenticated with a stamp and a signature by the municipality prefect.
The document was donated to the Typhlological Museum by Marta Durst née Bek.
