Vinko Bek’s glasses were made by O. Schleiffelder, an optician from Vienna, in the form of a pince-nez worn only on the nose. The pince-nez is placed in a silver metal case. The name of the optician is engraved in golden letters on the lid, and above it the following text: Lassen sie ihre Augen jedes Jahr untersuchen. (Check your eyes every year). The pince-nez was donated to the Typholological Museum in 1999 by Bek’s granddaughter Bosiljka Durst Živković.
