This statement is a document verifying Vinko Bek’s study visit to the Blinden-erziehungsinstitut, an Austrian institution for the blind. Vinko Bek went to Vienna to study the methods and organizational structure of Austrian institutes, and based on that experience he developed the foundations of his further work in Croatia. After he returned, he wrote the study titled Institutes for the Blind in Vienna and Croatian Needs. The document was donated to the Typhlological Museum by Marta Durst née Bek.
