Everyday life at the National Institute for the Education of Blind Children
This unit is presented through enlarged photographs documenting the life and education of blind children in the first school for the blind in our region, along with a film reconstruction of a day at the National Institute for the Education of Blind Children.
The Institute was not solely focused on general education, although it was primarily an educational institution falling under the category of public schools. It also served as a center for vocational training for the blind, with the aim of preparing them for an independent and productive life in a society that accepts them without prejudice.
